Marvel – Iron Man
Technology in Iron Man:
● AI: J.A.R.V.I.S (c. 2008)
Problem:
● There are a lot of repetitive tasks that require human intervention.
● Solve problem more efficient
● Gathering information from multiple sources is time consuming
● Risk of car accidents (Tesla Self-Driving AI)
● Use AI to analyze medical images such as X-Ray, MRI, etc. with greater accuracy ands peed.
● The structure and design of proteins are hard to predict.
Introduction to AI:
● Artificial Intelligence, or AI, is technology that allows computers to do things that normally need human thinking. This includes understanding language, recognizingimages, solving problems, and making choices. AI learns from data and gets better overtime, which helps it work in many areas, like virtual assistants (such as Siri or Alexa) and movie recommendations on Netflix. It’s a growing part of technology, helping to makelife easier and open up new possibilities.
Technology AI Today:
● ChatGpt
● Alexa
● Claude
● Siri
● Gemini
● Copilot
● Tesla
● AlphaFold2 (Protein)
Benefits of AI:
The use of AI is vast; it can range from AI assistants to being built into other sources often technology such as cars and buses. Artificial Intelligence use when JARVIS first aired oncinemas was minimal and not highly studied yet prototypes existed and were beingstudied. The evolution of AI since then has been multifaceted and more comprehensive.AI is now being used in everyday homes, to vehicles, to more stretched goals such as space exploration and the discovery of new scientific feats. JARVIS’s capabilities were shown through the ‘assistant’ scope of intelligence of which now in homes we see Google Minis, Alexas and Siri, built into Iphones everywhere. AI has also appeared inthe education industry with such technologies being; ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot. AIhas benefited a lot with its main point of being efficient due to its ability to generate, brainstorm, and even answer questions and write statements with a reasonably low margin of error.
